Shenzhen Airlines orders Chinese-made seating… from Recaro

April 6, 2017 – Shenzhen Airlines has ordered 8,000 seats from Recaro, consisting of CL5710 business class seats and BL3530 economy seats, for a line-fit program on 37 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and a retrofit program on 14 Airbus A320 aircraft, with installation to begin in 2018.

Recaro Aircraft Seating is one of the first international suppliers to manufacture aircraft seats in China. Since the company opened its Qingdao factory in 2013, the site has been manufacturing aircraft seats using modern lean and shop-floor management processes.
