Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 4, for its first class and business class customers, as well the airline’s Alfursan Gold frequent flyer members. The airline says the lounge marks a “significant milestone” in its ongoing commitment to elevating its guest experiences, and as such the lounge was officially inaugurated by H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, director general of Saudia Group.
The lounge offers Saudi hospitality, including traditional Saudi coffee and dates from the Kingdom. Premium dining is available at the international buffet area, with a private VIP area offering à la carte dining with a butler service. Additional features include a London Tea Exchange experience, luxury showers with Urban Apothecary amenities, prayer rooms, and a quiet zone. Guests can also use the fully equipped workspaces, along with high-speed wi-fi and charging stations.
The lounge design blends tradition with these modern conveniences, with sculptures and artwork, and lighting installations designed to add warmth and a luxurious feel to the space.
The lounge is part of Saudia’s plan to enhance its services, which includes investments in guest experience enhancements, such as seat retrofits, advanced in-flight entertainment (IFE) screens, and high-speed in-flight connectivity across its fleet.
Rossen Dimitrov, chief guest experience officer at Saudia, said: “The launch of our new lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4 is a testament to Saudia’s dedication to providing an exceptional travel experience that embodies the essence of Saudi hospitality. We are proud to offer our guests a premium space that combines comfort, luxury, and cultural richness.”
