Rosen Aviation has announced the world’s largest aviation production IFE display, a 97in 4K OLED, which it will showcase at NBAA-BACE next month.
Lee Clark, Rosen’s senior VP of strategy, said the OLED panel, developed for an undisclosed client, has been in the works for some time now, and to see it come to fruition is nothing short of an amazing achievement. “We are taking one giant 8-foot step [the screen’s diagonal size] towards closing the gap between what’s available at home and what we can put on an aircraft.”
Following on the back of the company’s 48in and 55in OLED displays, and its new 42in, 65in and 77in OLED additions announced in 2022, Rosen now offers a complete OLED lineup for all business, VIP and even commercial aviation aircraft, starting at 22in through to the new 97in.
