Having recently invested in widening the hangar doors at its MRO facilities in Chester, UK to accommodate larger aircraft, Aerocare has now extended its workshop space to support growth in the business jet market and the company’s planned diversification into commercial aviation.
As a Part 145 provider, the investment will bolster Aerocare’s core MRO and paint shop facilities with new C-rated workshop space and tooling. The company says the new capabilities will enable it to deliver full turnkey solutions for complete cabin interior refurbishments, component structural repairs and manufacturing, from its hangars at Hawarden Airport. The new C ratings cover aircraft interiors, structures, doors and hatches, flying controls, as well as Part 21 subpart G approval for the production of components and systems.
Peter Mankelow, managing director at Aerocare, explained, “With ambitions to expand on our current business jet portfolio to work with commercial operators, we needed to develop the facilities at Hawarden. With a skilled and dedicated team already in place, we’re excited to build on our growing reputation for quality maintenance, upgrades, paint and interior work.”
