Aircraft cabin lighting company, STG Aerospace has launched the next generation of its saf-Tglo photoluminescent system. Named SSUL-X, the system is claimed to be the world’s first photoluminescent emergency floor path system that has edge to edge colour, and is also the first photoluminescent system to be available in red – giving airlines a new option to harmonise or accent their cabins.
The saf-Tglo SSUL-X line builds on STG Aerospace’s popular range of green or blue-glowing systems, which are available for all aircraft types. SSUL-X adds edge-to-edge colour to eliminate unsightly borders, a wider colour range to match airline brands and cabin colour schemes, including red for the first time, a choice of a matt or gloss finish, and easy installation (under one hour on a B737-7800).
