Flitetec: Sales positions

Flitetec has two sales positions available: Senior sales account manager and sales account manager.

Flitetec has over 30 years of experience in the design, manufacture, integration and overhaul of cabin interior products and is certified for EASA Part 21 subpart G and EASA Part 145 release. We specialize in vacuum forming of polycarbonate materials, overhauling and producing products such as meal trays, seat backs and tablet holders, and design and integrate power USB conversions into existing seats.

Our customers include airlines, OEM seat and interior manufacturers, MRO operators, leasing companies and second-tier interior manufacturers in the UK, Europe, North America, Middle East and the Far East.

Purpose of job

• Selling Flitetec’s design, manufacturing and overhaul capability to new and existing customers in designated regions and markets
• Identifying new opportunities and leading the business development process from quotation through to order receipt
• Upselling unsolicited enquiries to incorporate our whole product range capability
• Key Account management providing after sales support and customer relationship management
• Plan and manage marketing campaigns to key accounts and new customers
• Building of own customer base, business development, strategy and development of new markets
• Assist in the planning, attendance and stand management of exhibitions and trade shows in the UK and abroad

Main duties and responsibilities
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers business through planned individual account support and liaison including regular customer visits
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by preparing quotations on the company business system and following up by telephone, email and personal visit to secure the order
• Maintain and update the CRM module within the company business system, providing a prospects and sales pipeline summary
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information and analysis where required
• Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
• Work towards achieving agreed, measurable performance targets and standards

Key skills and competencies
• Minimum three years previous sales experience (aviation based)
• Existing relationships within the aircraft interiors market an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and selling skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of international customers, both from the office, by telephone or in writing, and face to face. Second language an advantage
• Educated to a higher education level – a degree and an engineering background an advantage
