Role summary
As the Senior Marketing Manager you will lead and mentor our Marketing team, taking ownership for evolving our marketing strategic direction and taking our brand to the next level in line with our overall growth strategy.

You will be both strategic and executionally focused. You will have a proven track record creating and driving insight driven marketing strategies, be execution orientated and work effectively in a cross-functional team to deliver exceptional marketing strategies. This position is very visible within the Company and you will be called on to create and justify your ideas within your team, your peers and the senior leadership team.

You will be a creative, energetic and hands-on marketer with a passion for guerrilla marketing. You will have a strong general background across marketing disciplines, as our company continues to achieve its ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities
• Passionately embrace and live STG’s brand internally and externally
• Lead and mentor our highly ambitious marketing team
• Translate the business goals into strategic marketing plans that will drive revenues and financial performance and set STG distinctly apart from our competition
• Have responsibility for leading all marketing activity across all STG product solutions and markets worldwide, ensuring that marketing and product strategies are continuously aligned with global customer needs
• Ensuring messaging is on target and consistent with the strategic plan
• Developing and implementing highly effective international marketing campaigns across all channels, focusing on increasing brand and awareness
• Creating and developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, including social media marketing and optimization, e-commerce and search engine optimization
• Executing a detailed brand audit and drive the development of the next stage of our marketing strategy in conjunction with the marketing director
• Developing further our PR strategy
• Creating global market overview maps of key applications and technologies, identifying and predicting strategic competitive plays and market positioning

Personal attributes
• Degree in Marketing or other professional marketing qualification
• Minimum 5 years relevant marketing experience within social media, digital marketing and eCommerce
• Experience managing and mentoring a talented and ambitious marketing team
• Demonstrable experience growing a brand internationally
• Outstanding at project management, developing and executing strategies and campaigns on time and on budget
• Be entrepreneurial, hands-on and with a creative mindset.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skill
• Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with an attention to detail
• Post graduate marketing qualifications desirable (CIM, IDM) (desirable)
