UUDS Aero – Operations manager

Salary: €45-55,000 DOE

UUDS Aero has been specializing since 1981 in the design, production and maintenance of cabin equipment, as well as in chemical interventions on aircraft (the Ecoshine depollution/cleanup technique was developed by UUDS). Our group's efficiency is based on our teams of professionals intervening at any moment (24/7) at all airport hubs.

Our renowned quality of service has been certified several times, with ISO9001, EN9100, PART145 and 21.

The M/W operations manager position reports to the executive management.

• To lead and coordinate plane cleanup and chemical treatments projects and services, in keeping with profit margins and the quality level required, within the set deadline, and in accordance with technical standards and procedures
• To seize any opportunity to promote the UUDS Company services to its clients and to ensure competitive intelligence in his or her sector

Job content

• To organize and guarantee the proper functioning of services on a technical (file compilation and management, work execution monitoring) as well as a commercial (quotation process, customer relationship, cost tracking, billing and final balance) plan

• To manage human and material resources in conjunction with the department managers (50 to 60 people)

• To manage operations according to the contractual conditions (quality, cost, deadlines) and regulatory standards

• On an international level, to drive performance and customer relationship, to supervise (organization, control, validation) the startup of operations in the country concerned

• To conduct competitive intelligence

• To keep abreast of regulatory, technological and technical changes

• To suggest performance enhancements and streamline processes

• To provide activity reports of key indicators to the Executive Management office

Skills / qualities

• Higher education such as engineering school (general engineering or chemistry) or its university equivalent (Bac + 5) or Bac +2/3 with experience
• Experience in the supervision of activities (3 years for an engineer type, 5 years for a Bac +2/3 type), ideally in the aerospace sector, or in the cleaning / decontamination in an industrial, logistics or transportation environment
• Multicultural teams management experience with varied organizational models (3x8, 24/7, multi-sites)
• Very good command of English in a professional environment
• Desktop tools and computer skills

Terms and conditions
• Contract type: CDI
• Date of hire: as soon as possible
• Location: position based in Roissy, occasional mobility in the Paris region and abroad
• Remuneration: 45 to 55K€, depending on profile and experience
